HEMP

Hemp paper is celebrated for its durability, eco-friendliness, and unique texture. It has a lower environmental impact compared to traditional wood-based paper and cotton based paper because hemp grows faster and requires NO chemicals during cultivation, less water and it is acid and lignin-free. 

The resulting paper is often appreciated for its strength, durability, and resistance to deterioration.

The production of hemp paper involves several stages, from harvesting the raw material to the final creation of the paper product. 

Hemp paper is the final touch that Ricardo was looking for. After making his first prototypes of prints with hemp he realised that the paper mimics the photos and gives them a very natural look where image and paper become one - the perfect symbiosis.
